How water shapes and influences land is expressed in few places as evidently as it is in the southern Alberta landscape. From mountains to the west, and the wetlands, creeks, coulees and valleys to the east, the natural landscape provides abundant examples of this interaction. Ribstone Ranch places a high priority on the preservation of existing wetlands, uncultivated space and the natural ravine dividing the site.
